Mid Wales 2 Day Trail Ride
This is a great weekend’s trail riding, including Saturday night at a hotel in Snowdonia National Park. The route can be very tough to easy or some where in between.
Group size
The maximum group size is 10. Smaller groups may be mixed to a maximum of 10 riders plus the guide.
Friday night B&B
The use of our riders flat is available on Friday night. It is charged at £10 per rider and it is booked on a first come first served basis. We have plenty of parking for vans and trailers and a secure garage for bikes. Riders wishing to sleep in their vans can do so free of charge.
We leave our base near Welshpool on Saturday morning and ride west using classic lanes and tracks on our way. River crossings and technical sections can be included if requested. Lunch is a quick fill up at the garage and then we are back on the lanes all around Barmouth, using the wooden toll bridge.
While we are enjoying the ride, our overnight kit is moved by vehicle to the hotel and will be waiting for us.
The hotel has a secure area where the bikes are stored overnight. There is a drying room to dry the kit overnight. The rooms are two and three beds, with an en-suite bathroom. After a few well earned beers, the riders can enjoy food from the varied menu. Drinks and meals in the hotel are not included in the ride cost. Breakfast is at 8am and we aim to be riding by 9am after putting the overnight kit in the vehicle.
The second day trail ride is a different route to day one, only using a few lanes again. We aim to be back at our base by 4pm. Bike washing area with pressure washer is available and riders are welcome to have a shower before heading home.
